The Writing is on the Wall

As part of our Anniversary Celebration this year, we put up a memory wall and invited people to share their favorite moments at Tink & The Frog.
I thought it would be fun—but it ended up being something much more meaningful. I’ve been reading through all of your notes, and I’m so excited to share a bit of it here.
Reading through those notes— handwritten thoughts, quick memories—I kept seeing the same things over and over again.
Not just projects or yarn. But connection.
There were so many memories tied to community.

“I feel like ‘Norm’ when I come and everybody knows my name.”
“This has been a great place to make new friends after moving to Adrian last year.”
“It is awesome to have a place to hang out with new friends & relax—sanity maintenance.”
“I so enjoy stitching with my friends. The power of the table is inspiring.”
We like to use the phrase “power of the table” around here, and this is exactly what we mean. Sitting together, stitching, talking, laughing—it’s about being part of something.
There was also so much about learning and growing.

“I learned SO much!”
“Developing my skills with a group of people who support you with lots of positivity, laughs, and teaching.”
“The encouragement and support I get is the best!”
That part matters so much to me. I don’t just want you to leave with yarn—I want you to leave with confidence. I want you to feel like you can do this, and that you have people here to help you along the way.
And of course, there were the projects.

So many projects.
Papillon shawls. Baby sweaters. Chickens. Knit-alongs like Knights Who Say Knit.
Projects that started here and then became part of your evenings, your weekends, and your lives.
Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about making something—it’s about what that project represents: time spent, skills learned, and moments shared.
Thank you
Thank you for four incredible years.
Thank you for your projects, your stories, your laughter, your patience, and your support.
Thank you for showing up—for classes, for stitch nights, for events, and for each other.
This shop exists because of you!
