Cabled Cardigan Knit-A-Long
You may have seen this gorgeous cardigan in the shop. Well, Sue certainly saw it, and she’s wrangling a couple other knitters for a knit-a-long to make it!
Our tentative start date is August 23. If you’re interested, stop in to check out the sample, look over the pattern and choose some yarn so Michelle can pre-order anything you need.
There is no cost for the KAL; however, yarn must be purchased at Tink & The Frog. We have options in stock or we can put in an order for you!
Michelle’s yarn suggestions:
* Plymouth Yarn’s Worsted Merino Superwash. This yarn has a beautiful twist that will make your cables pop! Plus it is machine washable.
* Plymouth Yarn’s Encore Worsted or Encore Worsted Tweed. This is a great acrylic/wool option which will achieve similar gauge and comes in lots of great colorways. This yarn wears like iron!
* Plymouth Yarn’s Galway Worsted. This yarn is 100% Highland Wool and is a great option for knitters who prefer non-superwash or all-natural wools. You’ll achieve the same gauge as our other two suggestions.
