Beautiful texture, simple stitches, and a cozy hat you'll love wearing!
Ready to take your knitting beyond basic stockinette? Join us to knit the Knox Hat, a cozy, textured beanie that uses simple knits and purls to create a beautiful shell pattern. Worked in bulky yarn, this hat is a fun, satisfying project that knits up quickly!
In this class, you'll practice following a textured stitch pattern, working in the round, and shaping the crown with decreases. It's a great way to build your knitting confidence while creating a hat that looks more complicated than it is!
Never knit a hat before? You're welcome, too! We'll help you get started with a basic beanie so you can learn the fundamentals of knitting hats in the round before tackling more advanced stitch patterns.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner. You should know how to cast on, knit, and purl. Experience knitting in the round is helpful but not required.
