Come see this one in person! Our Osage Shawl sample is on display in the shop.
The Osage Shawl by Kelli Slack is a long, wearable rectangular shawl with eye-catching angled stripes, texture, and lace. Those slanted edges may look tricky, but they're created with simple increases and decreases—making this a great choice for an adventurous newer knitter or anyone looking for an interesting but approachable project.
Your Knitting Kit Includes 4 Skeins of Nua Sport:
- Color 1: 1 skein
- Color 2: 1 skein
- Color 3: 1 skein
- Color 4: 1 skein
Choosing Your Colors
This is a fun one to make your own! Choose four contrasting colors to really emphasize the stripes and changing stitch patterns, or stay within a more tonal palette for a softer look. The pattern can easily be adapted to use fewer or more colors.
Nua Sport's blend of Merino, yak, and linen gives the shawl beautiful depth and stitch definition—and it's the yarn the pattern was designed to use.
Finished size is approximately 14.5" × 70".
You'll also need US 6 / 4mm needles or the size needed to obtain gauge.
