Wonderland Yarns has taken the yarn Advent to a whole new level with Wonderlust: An Advent-ure with Color. Inspired by vintage travel—hot air balloons, grand steamships, exotic rail cars, and faraway adventures—this is a December journey told through beautiful hand-dyed color.

Instead of mini skeins, you'll unwrap a full 4-ounce skein of hand-dyed yarn each day. Choose a 12-Day or 24-Day Advent and watch your stash transform into an incredible collection of coordinating mystery colorways from one of our favorite indie dyers.

This isn't just something fun to open. At the end, you'll have a gorgeous collection of full skeins ready to become sweaters, shawls, blankets, accessories, gifts, and projects you haven't even dreamed up yet.

Choose your yarn base and 12- or 24-Day Advent, with options to include Wonderland's special surprises. Each Advent also includes a pattern library with ideas for putting your new yarn to work.

Should you get the surprises?
We vote yes.

We've ordered Wonderland Advents for ourselves before, and the little extras make the experience even more fun. Past Advents have included maker treats such as tiny scissors, measuring tapes, stitch markers, and other surprises. You can skip the extras if you're here strictly for the yarn—but if you love the full Advent experience, they're worth it.

Perfect for: the ultimate treat-yourself gift, a seriously memorable gift for another maker, or giving your stash a spectacular infusion of hand-dyed color.

Preorder by October 13. Advents are expected to ship to us in mid- to late November.

Please note: It's a surprise! Photos shown are from previous Wonderland Yarns Advents and are examples only. The 2026 Wonderlust colors and surprises have not been revealed. No peeking!

When will my order ship?
We will package and ship your order within 1-3 business days.

Can I pick up my order in the shop?
Yes! Just select pick-up at check-out. We will hold your order for twenty business days. If you have not picked up your order by then, we will refund your money and the items purchased will be returned to our inventory.

Who do you use for shipping?
We currently use USPS for shipping.

How much is shipping?
We charge a Flat Rate shipping fee of $7.99 for orders under $75. Orders over $75 ship free.

Do you ship outside the US
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to ship outside of the United States. If you would like to make a special request for an international delivery, please contact us.

What is your return policy?
Unused items in their original condition can be returned in store or through the mail within 30 days of purchase with receipt or invoice. Clearance items, books, magazines and patterns are not returnable.

If a needle or hook is defective, please contact us and we will work with you and the manufacturer to get a replacement.

Can I return yarn?
Unused yarn in its original condition can be returned in store with a receipt within 30 days of purchase. Or you can send back any unused yarn in its original condition with a copy of your invoice within 30 days of purchase to:
