Building Block of the Month

Our Building Block of the Month Club will help newer knitters move beyond the basics or more seasoned knitters improve their skills by introducing the major knitting techniques using a systematic approach. Each block builds upon the previous block, allowing you to gain confidence and knowledge while working toward a beautiful sampler afghan, baby blanket or pillow case.

Included patterns are from the book “Building Blocks” by Michelle Hunter of Knit Purl Hunter. All techniques in the book are supported with free online video lessons. So if you miss a meeting or need some video assistance – no worries!

Tuition: $20/month

Required Materials:
“Building Blocks” by Michelle Hunter of Knit Purl Hunter
Worsted or aran weight yarn purchased at Tink & The Frog (approx. 1400 yds)
Corresponding knitting needles needed to reach gauge
Recommended: Stitch markers, cable needle, row counter, scissors, sticky notes, tapestry needle
