Butterfly Shawl

The Butterfly Shawl is a real show-stopper!

The shawl is knit in two different fingering weight yarns: a long transition multi-colored yarn and a solid contrast. Knitters will be challenged to carefully read and precisely execute the pattern. Learn and practice short-row knitting, wrap and turns and helpful stitch marker placement. Participants will be encouraged to continue knitting at home between classes.

Pattern (included)
Yarn purchased at Tink & The Frog:
-2 100g skeins fingering weight yarn in main color (we recommend Urth Uneek or Gusto Echoes)
-1 100g skein fingering weight yarn in solid contrast color

OR:

-5 x 50g skeins of fingering weight yarn (we recommend Kelbourne Woolens Camper)
-2 x 50g skeins of fingering yarn in solid contrast color (such as Camper)
US 4 circular knitting needles
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle, scissors
Class meets 2 hours per week for 4 weeks.
