A Perennial Favorite

We are so excited to offer Kelbourne Woolens, and the newest member of our collection is Perennial!

Perennial from Kelbourne Woolens is a fingering weight 3-ply blend of superwash merino, Suri alpaca and nylon. The result is an unbelievably soft, glowing and strong yarn with tons of yardage – almost 500 yards! The merino and Suri alpaca wool are both sourced in South America and is spun in the USA.

Your Next Stash Staple

Perennial is a beautiful modern take on the stash staple. It’s delicious in shawls and garments, but is durable enough for socks. The merino, alpaca and nylon blend will felt just a little at the heel to create a hard-wearing and soft sock that lasts.

Perennial is also a great choice for wraps and other accessories. With a sophisticated but fun palette, you have tons of options for your next colorwork project.

Baby Project Friendly

Sample time!

This Butterfly / Papillon shawl is just stunning! Pairing Urth Yarn`s Uneek Fingering from with a solid, the yarn does of a lot of the colorwork so you can focus on this fun but challenging pattern. Lots of garter stitch makes for a squishy wrap, but the fingering weight yarn makes it light enough to wear out on a summer evening.

Got pumpkins?

These crocheted pumpkins were created by our talented friend, Melissa. Thank you so much for sharing these festive little cuties!

There are tons of patterns out there and there is still plenty of time to whip up one of these "gourd-geous" pumpkins for your home.

This cabled cardigan is a showstopper! 🤩

Our Women`s Cabled Jacket is knitted in Worsted Merino Superwash by @plymouthyarn and will achieve gauge in Galway or Encore as well.

Plus, this store favorite is going to be a knit-a-long starting in August! Srop in to pick out your yarn. Tentative start date is August 23 meeting at 10am.

Christal knit our Perky Little Hat pattern in @malabrigoyarn #rasta in the Teal Feather colorway. This was a fun and quick knit, and there is enough yarn leftover for a pompom.... but we think it would look cute with a fur pom too - what do you think?
